Architecture in Lower Manhattan
I spend a fair amount of time wandering through the city. Not a lot – I mean I have a job and everything – but free time. I like to explore with my camera. I mainly just chill out, totally empty my head and let the city show me what's interesting. I've always loved architecture so, New York is pretty much a smorgasbord when it comes to that ... but it's more than just facades.
I'm drawn to architecture not just for the grand entrances or the wide spans of endless windows and glass...it's more than the steel and concrete molded and shaped into art. I like to try capture the scale and presence of a structure in an attempt to express the feeling I get when I see it the first time.
